Different Air Force Uniforms

There are many different Air Force uniforms that service men and women are required to wear in different times of service. The Air Force uniforms are sometimes dubbed as the most prestigious of all the branches of the United States Military. Service uniforms and mess dress

Men and women have different service uniforms. They both have the same concept; however, women have additional articles, such as skirts and women's style flight caps. The mess dress uniform is one that is considered formal and semi-formal. Air Force service men and women wear these uniforms to "black tie" events.

Battle uniforms and physical training uniforms

The standard camouflage uniform that everyone recognizes is known more professionally as the Airman Battle Uniform. This uniform is considered the battle uniform. Service men and women wear this uniform while on duty and while deployed. Service men and women are also expected to wear special uniforms while physically training. These uniforms are water resistant and reflective on the sides.

Air Force service men and women work to protect Americans' lives and freedoms every day. Their job is strenuous, but Americans have the utmost respect for them and the things they sacrifice. A part of this respect comes from the elegance that these men and women portray in the way they live, act and dress.
